Recently, Weichai Power Co. , Ltd. , which is known for producing diesel engines for commercial vehicles and construction machinery, has announced that it will enter the light vehicle market and launch the “Yingzhi†brand. It is reported that through the acquisition of Chongqing Jialing Chuanjiang Automobile, Weichai has obtained the qualification for production of passenger vehicles. Weichai is famous for products and technologies such as engines , gears, and hydraulic systems. According to Weichai's plans, the Yingzhi brand will produce urban SUVs, MPVs, high-end pickup trucks, off-road SUVs, and light commercial vehicles. At present, Weichai Group's total brand of passenger cars.
