ChargeLab successfully migrates Enel X Way EV chargers
Last week, **ChargeLab announced** an initiative to help commercial Enel X Way EV charger users transition to our OCPP-compliant back-end for seamless charging station management. Today, we’re excited to share that dozens of Enel X Way chargers have already been successfully migrated to our platform. We’ve also added more details about the process, as there has been a lot of confusion in the EV charging software space recently.
To give you a better idea of what the migration looks like in practice, check out this video featuring ChargeLab CEO Zak Lefevre walking through one of the recently upgraded sites:

### Technical Challenges
It’s important to note that Enel X Way commercial EV chargers aren’t straightforward OCPP devices. Migrating them requires a detailed reconfiguration process before they can be connected to a new charging station management system (CSMS). So far, ChargeLab is among the few providers that have managed to complete these migrations efficiently and on time — especially by the October 11 deadline.
If you're working with another OCPP provider, make sure they have actual experience migrating Enel X Way chargers and understand the full scope of the work involved.

### ChargeLab's Solution
Thanks to the hard work of our engineering team, we've developed a streamlined method to migrate Enel X Way chargers quickly and reliably. The process involves both backend configuration from our side and some on-site setup that can be done by a technician using a laptop or smartphone.
