Lisle house fire 7/1/11

<

Stephen Wilcox recently shared another house fire incident from Dupage County, this time in Lisle. He provided several photos and detailed observations about the event.

This box alarm occurred in an unhydranted area on the northern end of Lisle’s district. The weather was hot and humid at the time. No one was home when the fire broke out at 11:15 a.m. on July 1, 2011, which may have contributed to a delayed response. The structure was a single-story "L"-shaped building, approximately 40x80 feet, located on Red Oak Street. Command also called for tankers to support the operation.
