Zhang Aihua told reporters that on average, this production line will have a new car off the assembly line every 10 minutes, and it will be able to produce a car in as little as 5 minutes. It has now reached an annual production capacity of 50,000 economical commercial vehicles. This year, in order to meet the needs of energy conservation and environmental protection, apart from the production of traditional fuel vehicles, the company has also newly developed new energy vehicles using natural gas.
Dongfeng Shenyu Factory is located in the Shiyan Industrial New Area and occupies an area of ​​approximately 320,000 square meters. The new assembly line was completed in August 2011, which greatly increased the production capacity of the entire vehicle and laid a solid foundation for the construction of a production platform for 100,000 commercial vehicles of Dongfeng Industrial.
Dongfeng Shenyu Vehicle Co., Ltd., consisting of Shenyu Factory and Huashen Factory, owns three vehicle production lines and three vehicle inspection lines, with annual production capacity of 3-5 million vehicles.
