A few days ago, the market supervision bureau of Shangyu District of Shaoxing City tested the quality of automobile tires for the first time. The test results show that the quality of passenger tires in Shangyu District is relatively high.

The monitoring of the quality of goods in automobiles is the focus of the Shangyi District Market Supervision Bureau's product quality inspection and layout this year. The bureau conducted a total of 15 batches of car tires for 10 brands sold in 7 auto tire stores and 4S stores in the city. The main brands are: MICHELIN, DUNLOP, WESTLAKE, SAKURA, Giti, GOODYEAR, Horse, WARRIOR, Pirelli, HANKOOK, etc. Focus on testing tire durability testing, strength performance testing, high-speed performance testing and other projects. According to the Yancheng City Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute, the outer edge size, tread wear mark, tire strength performance, tubeless tire off-coil resistance, tire durability, tire high-speed performance and other six items of inspection, the test results are all qualified. 15 batches of car tires were sampled and the pass rate was 100%.

Shangyu District Market Supervision Administration issued a consumer reminder, consumers try to buy tires in specialty stores or good reputation stores. Pay attention to the date of production of the tires. If the rubber is used for a long time or placed, it will age. The aging tires will affect the performance of the vehicle, and the puncture accident will be life-threatening. A series of 4-digit numbers can be found near the wheel. The first two digits indicate the production week, and the last two digits indicate the year of production. If the place where the tires are replaced tells you that the tire production date is specific to the number, do not believe it because the tires are on the tires. The production date mark is uniform throughout the world, and it is not at all detailed when the tire you are using is actually produced.

The identification of retreaded tires and branded tires can be judged in four ways. First, the new tire tread is blue, the color is more natural, and the retreaded tire is particularly bright. The second is touch, the new tire presses the tread, leaving no fingerprints, and the retreaded tire tread has a layer of wax. There will be fingerprints on the top; the third is to pull, the rubber nails and wear marks on the tread will not be easily torn off; the fourth is the stroke, with a hard object slightly across the tread, the new tire will not leave scratches.
