Deepening the understanding of bag filter dust removal technology

Many companies have not satisfied the general understanding of bag filter dust removal technology, and the establishment of a variety of test devices is one of the ways to deepen the understanding of bag filter dust removal technology. In the past, only a few institutions have test equipment, and now many manufacturers have begun to pay attention to it, and have built their own. According to incomplete statistics, there are the following types of test devices.

1) Blowing device test bench: Many companies have established such test stands. Can be carried out:

a) pulse valve preferred test;

b) Test for cleaning effect of filter bags exceeding 8~12m long;

c) more than 4 inch pulse valve for the cleaning of more than 20 filter bags;

d) the test of the distribution of the cleaned air flow along the blowing pipe and along the filter bag;

e) Tests that the pulse valve is properly matched to the filter bag, etc.

2) Pulse valve performance test bench: The test bench is equipped with a target, and a pressure sensor and an acceleration sensor are mounted on the target, so that the test pulse valve is blown to the target to compare the performance of pulse valves of different structures and different sizes. The computer directly prints out the pressure waveform, acceleration waveform and key data of the pulse valve. The test bench can compare the performance of pulse valve products, as well as the development and testing of new pulse valves.

3) Pulse valve diaphragm destructive test bench: Diaphragm life test can be performed on a plurality of pulse valves of different sizes and structures at the same time. Compressed air is used as the power, and the pulse is sprayed at the rated pressure until the diaphragm is broken, thereby checking the actual service life of the diaphragm.

4) Pulse valve flow coefficient test bench: With the Roots blower as the power, the flow coefficient of the pulse valve is tested under continuous steady flow conditions. A test with a pressure of 0.1 MPa or less can be performed.

5) Bag type dust removal test bench: equivalent to a small bag type dust collector, which can simulate certain operating conditions, carry out tests on dust removal effect, equipment resistance, cleaning cycle and other parameters to determine the reasonable structure of the dust collector, mainly Parts, etc.

6) Filter material dynamic filtration performance test bench: Using a certain amount of test dust, the dynamic dust filter performance of the filter material and the residual resistance of the filter material are determined after a certain number of dust and ash removal at a specified filtration wind speed.

7) Airflow distribution test: A reduced dust collector model is established according to a certain ratio, and the airflow distribution of the dust collector is tested to obtain a reasonable structure, size and wind speed of the airflow distribution device.

Failure filter bag processing technology came into being

Corresponding treatment technologies have been introduced for the two failure phenomena of the bag filter bag.

1) Paste bag processing: The equipment for solving the bag problem is the mobile cleaning device and the supporting field test equipment. The cleaning operation is carried out on site to remove the dust agglomeration on the surface of the filter bag, reducing the resistance, thereby restoring the function of the filter bag and reducing the running cost of the user. The main body of the cleaning device is a small gas tank equipped with a pulse valve, and a circular cover plate is arranged outside the output pipe of the pulse valve. The air compressor inputs compressed air to the cylinder through a hose. During operation, the output tube of the pulse valve is inserted from the upper port of the filter bag to be cleaned, and the circular cover covers the bag mouth tightly. At the moment when the pulse valve is opened, compressed air is sprayed into the filter bag, and the dust on the outer surface of the filter bag is dusted. When it is cleared, the permeability of the filter bag is increased. Do this on the filter bags one by one until all the filter bags are cleaned.

2) "Enema" filter bag treatment: Using the jet pneumatic principle, the dust inside the "enema" filter bag is cleaned out to restore the working capacity, thereby reducing the number of discarded filter bags. This type of device is called a "ashing gun." The core component is a small ejector with a ball valve at the compressed air inlet. The ashing gun has two types of blowing and sucking, and the outlet or the inlet of the ejector is respectively connected to the filter bag to be cleaned, thereby forming two working modes of "ash absorbing" or "bloom blowing". The power intensity of the suction gun can be adjusted according to the size of the filter bag and the accumulation of dust.

In summary, through the unremitting efforts of several generations of experts and engineering technicians in the bag dust removal industry, the design, manufacture, control, filter materials and accessories technology of bag filters in China have made remarkable progress in the past decade. At the same time, bag dust removal technology still has many shortcomings and faces new challenges, and it still needs to continue to work hard.
