Fox Lake fire engines for sale

I recently came across some interesting information about these fire trucks on firetruckresource.com and thought I’d share it here. The first one is a 1991 Spartan Alexis Pumper/Tanker, unit #A71619. It’s got an impressive list of features that make it a reliable piece of firefighting equipment. For starters, it has only 44,088 miles on the odometer and can seat four people comfortably, with space for three SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus) units. Under the hood, you’ll find an 8.3-liter Cummins engine with 3,369 hours of operation. The Hale pump delivers up to 1,250 gallons per minute, and it’s backed by just 615 pump hours. Other notable features include an Akron deck gun, a 1,500-gallon polyethylene tank, and a 10-inch rear electric tank dump valve. There’s also a hydraulic 8-kilowatt generator and a Wilburt 3,000-watt light tower for added versatility. Attached photos from firetruckresource.com showcase its classic design and condition. Unfortunately, this particular unit has already been sold, but it gives us a glimpse into what made older models so dependable. Now, moving on to the second truck—a 2001 Spartan Alexis Pumper/Tanker, unit #71659. This newer model boasts 24,130 miles on the clock and offers seating for five people, including four SCBA positions. Powering this beast is a Cummins ISM engine with 450 horsepower and only 1,800 engine hours under its belt. The Allison transmission ensures smooth gear changes, while air horns mounted in the bumper add that unmistakable authority. Additional features include a Kussmaul battery charger, an air shoreline with automatic eject, and a Hale pump capable of delivering 1,500 gallons per minute. The current pump tests confirm its performance capabilities. With three SCBA seats, two 2.5-inch rear tank fills, and three 10-inch tank dump valves, this tanker is well-equipped for any firefighting scenario. The photos again come courtesy of firetruckresource.com and show off its modern styling. Thanks to my friend Danny for sharing these details! It’s always fascinating to see how firefighting technology has evolved over the years. These trucks represent different eras of innovation in emergency vehicles, and they remind me of why firefighters rely on such robust machinery. If anyone has similar stories or insights, feel free to chime in!
