In response to our earlier post about Highland Park's newest ambulance, Sam Borica discovered a link to the Facebook page of Horton of Illinois, which features a large gallery of photos showcasing the brand-new unit. The ambulance is a 2012 Ford F-450 Type I built by Horton. This marks Highland Park’s first all-red ambulance and their very first Type I model. It’s an exciting development for the department, as this new unit brings modern design and improved functionality to their fleet.
