Autodesk Appoints Stephen Milligan to Board of Directors

SAN RAFAEL, Calif., December 14, 2018 — Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK) has officially welcomed Stephen Milligan to its Board of Directors, effective December 13, 2018. With over three decades of experience in executive leadership, operations, and finance, Milligan brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of driving growth and transformation. Currently serving as CEO of Western Digital Corporation, Milligan has built a career centered around strategic leadership and operational excellence. His appointment to the Autodesk board is expected to bring valuable insights as the company continues to evolve and expand its offerings in the design and manufacturing software space. “Steve’s deep expertise in technology, operations, and finance makes him an exceptional addition to our board,” said Stacy Smith, Chair of the Autodesk Board. “His experience will be instrumental as we focus on sustainable growth and delivering strong returns for our shareholders.” Andrew Anagnost, President and CEO of Autodesk, also expressed enthusiasm about the new appointment. “Steve has a remarkable ability to lead companies through transformation and drive long-term value,” he said. “His background in scaling businesses and navigating complex challenges will be incredibly beneficial as we continue our shift toward SaaS-based solutions for design and make.” Before joining Western Digital, Milligan was at the helm of Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (Hitachi GST), where he successfully led the company through a significant financial and operational turnaround. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President and CFO of Western Digital, having first joined the company in 2002 as Vice President of Finance. Milligan began his career with Price Waterhouse, where he spent five years in senior finance roles before moving on to his current leadership positions. He currently serves on the boards of Western Digital and Ross Stores, Inc., and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The Ohio State University.
