AV14-4 Vortex Impeller Submersible Sewage Pump
As/AV/Wq Submersible Sewage Pumps are designed with large channel and non-clogging impellers, allowing solids up to 80 mm in diameter to pass through smoothly. The rugged cast iron pump body ensures durability, while the latest sealing materials are used for enhanced performance and reliability. The motor is classified as F class with IP68 protection, ensuring long-term smooth operation even under harsh conditions. The compact design makes it easy to move and install, and the automatic installation system with double guide rails simplifies both installation and maintenance. The pump can automatically start and stop using a float switch, and it can be remotely controlled via various monitoring systems.
These pumps are ideal for a wide range of applications, including drainage of heavily polluted water in industrial and commercial settings, sewage drainage in residential areas, hospitals, hotels, and water treatment plants. They are also suitable for municipal engineering projects, construction sites, agricultural irrigation, and civil defense systems.
Key application conditions include a pH range of 5–9, with water temperature below 60°C and impurity content less than 25%. The pump can be installed in either fixed or free-standing configurations. For fixed wet installation, our company’s unique auto-coupling system allows the pump to slide down along the guide rail and position itself automatically, ensuring a secure and reliable fit. For free-standing installation, the pump sits on a support plate and connects to flexible piping, making it ideal for emergency situations, maintenance, or small-scale projects (limited to pumps with power under 4 kW).
The AS and AV series represent different types of submersible sewage pumps. The AS model features a non-clogging, single-channel semi-open impeller, while the AV model uses a vortex impeller for efficient handling of larger debris. The designation follows a specific format: "AS (AV) 16 - 2W/CB" where "AS" refers to the single impeller, "AV" to the vortex impeller, "16" indicates power (P2*10 kW), "2" refers to the number of motor poles, "W" denotes single-phase, and "CB" stands for contra-block device.
Technical specifications vary across models, with capacities ranging from 15 m³/h to 145 m³/h, heads from 4.5 m to 25 m, and power ratings from 0.8 kW to 7.5 kW. The AV14-4 model, for example, has a capacity of 22 m³/h, a head of 5.8 m, a power rating of 1.4 kW, and a speed of 1450 r/min. It is capable of passing solids up to 30 mm in diameter and weighs 33 kg.
