In recent years, Jiangsu Kebao Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has consistently demonstrated strong performance by leveraging technological innovation to maintain a competitive edge. The company's joint development with Southeast University on material dynamic drying equipment has resulted in three utility model patents and two invention patent applications, along with six additional utility model patents that have been submitted to the National Patent Office. These eight patent applications are currently under review, highlighting the company’s commitment to innovation and intellectual property development.
Material drying is one of the most energy-intensive processes in cement production, accounting for approximately 15% to 20% of the total energy consumption in a cement plant. It plays a critical role in determining the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the entire production chain, influencing coal and electricity usage, as well as the stability and quality of raw materials, clinker, and finished cement. To address these challenges, Kebao has developed a new-generation dynamic drying and energy-saving system. This advanced technology uses a vertical dryer based on convection heat transfer principles to dry materials such as slag, clay, and related products like building plaster. The system also features the company’s patented air box pulse bag filter, which ensures emissions remain below 30mg/Nm³, and an automated control system powered by computer software, making it one of the most advanced material drying systems in China.
By integrating innovative technologies such as new processes, advanced equipment, and computerized control systems, Kebao’s drying equipment saves 2–3 kWh per ton of dry material and reduces coal consumption by about 25 kg. The drying efficiency has nearly doubled, and the system offers a 60% reduction in investment costs. The design includes anti-blocking devices, secondary hot air pipes, and variable diameter structures, effectively solving common issues related to clogging and inefficiency.
Due to its superior technical performance, Kebao’s dynamic vertical dryers have gained widespread recognition in the domestic market. They have been successfully selected in multiple technical renovation projects, including the new 2500t/d clinker drying system at Sichuan Shuangma Cement Group, the drying system at Guangdong Jianhua Pipe Group, and eight consecutive selections of the KBH high-efficiency vertical dryer. The drying systems of Shandong Co., Ltd. and Shandong Shanshui Group have also chosen Kebao’s equipment. This year alone, the company has won several major bids, including the drying systems for Shaanxi Shenhua Fugu Cement Co., Ltd., Hunan Yufeng Cement Group, Yunnan Red River Cement Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Jianfeng Cement Co., Ltd., and Hainan Chengmai Blue Island New Building Materials Technology Co., Ltd.
In April, Kebao participated in the tender for the second phase of the technical renovation project at Shaanxi Shenhua Fugu Cement Co., Ltd. With six bidders competing, the evaluation committee scored the proposals based on technology, qualifications, pricing, and overall performance. Kebao secured the bid with a score of 87.5 out of 100, demonstrating the strength of its technology and service capabilities. The company has seen record sales growth this year, further solidifying its position as a leader in the drying equipment industry.
