Dagang Petrochemical Sulfur Plant Achieve Win-Win Results
As of October 8th, the Dagang Petrochemical Company's sulfur recovery plant operated safely and steadily for 252 days, accumulatively producing 2,260 tons of sulfur, treating 3.941 million standard cubic meters of acid gas, yielding 94% of sulfur, and recovering a total sulfur of more than 99.6%. Sulfur dioxide was detected to be 600 ppm or less, which is far less than the 960 ppm required by the national standard GB16297-1996, achieving a win-win result of economic benefits and environmental protection.
