The “Haieng-I” 100-kilowatt tidal power station, which was designed by the Institute of Marine Renewable Energy of the School of Naval Architecture of Harbin Engineering University, was successfully operated in Guishan Waterway, Daishan County, Zhejiang Province. The power station adopts the dual-unit tidal energy power generation device with a total capacity of 300kW and the tidal energy power generation technology of floating vertical shaft turbine independently developed by the school. It has the largest power generation capacity in the world and is the first floating vertical shaft tidal energy demonstration power station in China. The power station adopts the dual-unit tidal energy power generation device with a total capacity of 300kW and the tidal energy power generation technology of floating vertical shaft turbine independently researched and developed by Harbin Engineering University. The power generation capacity is currently the largest in the world, and it is the first floating vertical shaft tidal energy demonstration power station in China.
The power station system breaks through the integrated design of floating tidal energy power generation system, high-performance vertical axis variable angle water turbine, light high-strength composite material blade, power station shallow water large load mooring (product warehouse purchase supply) system, low-speed direct-drive permanent magnet power generation Machine (product library purchase supply), power stability conversion and control, dynamic submarine cable (product library purchase supply) design and other key technologies, formed a tidal current generator design theory method, software (product library purchase supply) system, and developed Key equipment for tidal energy power stations such as floating carriers, anchor systems, vertical axis turbines, low-speed generators, and electric energy conversion. The demonstration operation of the power station realizes the power supply to the onshore power load through the submarine cable and the offshore power generation device, so that the power station system can automatically operate at sea, which is the overall design, core component matching, safe operation and optimal control of the tidal energy power generation system in China. The aspect has accumulated experience and was identified by the project expert group. It is believed that the design technology and device development of the independent tidal power generation demonstration system has reached the international advanced level.
The key technology research, system development and demonstration application involved in the construction of “Haieng-I” power station are subject to the National 863 Program “Renewable Energy Technology in Advanced Energy Technology” and the National Science and Technology Support Program “Research on Key Technologies of Ocean Energy Development and Utilization” Supported by the “Demonstration” project, the two projects were led by Professor Zhang Liang and Professor Han Duanfeng from the School of Shipbuilding of Harbin Engineering University. Recently, they passed the acceptance of the project organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the State Oceanic Administration. The project was led by the school and was jointly completed by Shandong Electric Power Engineering Consulting Institute Co., Ltd., National Marine Technology Center, Harbin Power Generation Equipment National Engineering Research Center, and Gaoshan Shipyard of Weishan County (Location Shipyard News). The Science and Technology Bureau of Daishan County gave strong support. This is the “Haiming I” 10kW horizontal-axis tidal current power generation unit that has been running smoothly for one year, the “Wanxiang I” 70kW floating tidal current experimental power station built in 2002, and the “Universal II” built in 2005. After the 40kW submarine tidal power station, China's fourth tidal energy power station participated in the construction.
It is reported that the construction of floating tidal power stations is a research hotspot in the world of new energy. Harbin Engineering University, as a technology lead unit in 2002, researched and built China's first 70kW floating tidal energy “Wanxiang I” experimental power station. On this basis, after more than 10 years of scientific research, technical research, engineering experiments, The floating tidal current can be used to demonstrate the power station, which marks a solid step for China's tidal power generation technology towards the stage of industrial development. The construction of “Haieng-I” tidal energy power station integrates various subject areas such as ship and ocean engineering (ship type shipyard trading), machinery, generator, electric control, offshore installation, etc., bringing potential business opportunities to industrial chain related enterprises. It will promote the development and construction of the island economy, and also lay a verification platform and basic conditions for the establishment of tidal power generation technical specifications, unit operation and key operational procedures, which will form a tidal power station with independent intellectual property rights in China. Technology and promotion of China's new marine energy development are of great significance.
