If the temperature parameters are not well controlled, it will bring significant economic losses to the production enterprises. Therefore, choosing the right temperature measurement means is to ensure the furnace An important part of normal work.

There are two traditional methods of temperature measurement in tunnel kilns: one is thermocouple temperature measurement. This method is characterized by high temperature measurement accuracy, and can be connected to a paperless recorder or control system for closed-loop control. Its disadvantage is short life span. Especially in high-temperature kiln above 1300 °C, its galvanic consumption is very large, the price is very expensive, and the equipment running cost is higher; the second method is the optical pyrometer, which measures the temperature according to the color of the light emitted by the measured object. Because it does not directly contact the high temperature area, it has a long service life, but the measurement accuracy is low, there are human factors, and the authenticity is poor. Application of infrared thermometer can effectively overcome the above shortcomings.

Paperless recorders have high measurement accuracy, and they can output electrical signals like thermocouples, perform automatic recording and control, and have the advantages of long service life, simple operation, and small human error. Therefore, infrared thermometer is an ideal temperature measuring instrument for high temperature tunnel kiln. Infrared thermometer in the application of tunnel kiln, according to different user requirements, commonly used single point temperature measurement and multi-point switching temperature measurement two programs. Described separately as follows:

Single point temperature measurement system: Each temperature measurement point is composed of a probe and a meter box. The temperature measurement unit performs temperature acquisition. Then connect the 4-20mA analog signal output from each unit's meter box to the multi-point recorder or control actuator, and communicate with the computer and printer via RS-232 port. The temperature measuring unit in this system usually uses the instrument with higher precision and stronger function.

Switching temperature measurement system: This system is to connect the infrared probe signal installed at each temperature measurement point to a thermometer to perform signal processing. And output 1~5V temperature signal corresponding to each temperature measurement point, which can be recorded by multi-point recorder. At the same time, the temperature data can also be directly input into the computer through RS232 port, and analyzed and processed by computer. It can also directly connect the printer to print temperature data. come out.

In the above two schemes, the single-point temperature measurement system has an independent temperature measurement and signal processing system at each temperature measurement point, and its output analog and digital signals are real-time continuous signals. The response speed is fast and can be used as a control. Actuator real-time control signals to achieve closed-loop control. The multi-point switching temperature measurement system, although its analog output signal is also continuous, but there is a certain lag with the real-time temperature value, it can only be used for data acquisition and recording, and not as a control signal, its advantage is better cost performance It can reduce equipment costs in applications where usage requirements are not too high.

In the use of other refractory kiln, such as downdraft kiln and prismatic kiln, the temperature measurement point is less, so there are more single-point temperature measurement programs. There are also hand-held infrared thermometers, but the instrument can only intermittently measure the temperature of the furnace, each measurement must be recorded manually, can not achieve automatic continuous measurement.
