Jinan Steel successfully delivered steel for offshore platforms

After the user application technology center of Shandong Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. Jinan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., wide and thick plate factory and other relevant departments actively cooperated, the 11243 tons of offshore platform steel used by Jinan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. won the bid for the “CNOOC Jinzhou 9-3 Oilfield Project”.
The “Jinzhou 9-3 Oilfield” project is located in the northern part of the Liaodong Bay of Bohai Sea, with a distance of 15 kilometers from the coast and a water depth of about 6.5 to 10.5 meters. The project has a total of five platforms. The steel platform steel that Jigang won the bid for was used to build the CEPD center platform in the Western Region. The steel for the offshore platform was successfully delivered, and it was recognized by China National Offshore Oil Corporation in terms of product quality and delivery time. This laid the foundation for Jinan Steel to successfully strive for steel projects for offshore platforms at home and abroad.
In addition, Jinan Iron and Steel also successfully won the bid for the “Suizhong 28/34 Oilfield Group Area” development project, which will produce 16,000 tons of offshore platform steel for the future. The project consists of three sub-projects, namely “Suizhong 28-2S Oilfield Comprehensive Adjustment Project”, “Suizhong 34-2/4 Oilfield Comprehensive Adjustment Project” and “Suizhong 34-1 Oilfield Comprehensive Adjustment Project”. The water depth in the oil field is 18.5-21.9 meters, and the annual average temperature is 13.6 degrees Celsius. A total of 5 offshore platforms are built. Jinan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. actively prepared technical and commercial materials and fully prepared for the successful bid.
