When the ball loading exceeds 40%, the movement of the ball will prevail in the form of sloping; when the ball loading reaches 50% of the total capacity of the cylinder, since the surface of the ball group is positively in the diameter line of the cylinder Up, so it is easy to produce turbulence. Accordingly, it is more appropriate to load between one-third and one-half, and one-half is optimal.

How to check the ball loader is not suitable?

The so-called ball-loading effect should mainly consider the size and proportion of the ball. As for the quantity of the ball, it has been basically fixed in production. For example, the central ball-type ball mill does not make the ball ball from the ball mill. The inner roll out limit is limited, and the lattice ball mill ball loading volume should account for about 50% of the total volume. During the test, the operating conditions of the ball mill's ore feeding size, classifier overflow fineness and sand return amount should be kept as much as possible, and then the rationality of the ball loading ratio can be checked from the following two aspects.

1. The overflow fineness of the ore and classifiers is unchanged, and the amount of sand returned is reduced, which indicates that the grinding effect of the ball mill is strengthened, and the amount of ore can be increased.

2. According to the results of the sieve analysis of the classifier, it is found that the number of ore particles close to the overflow particle size increases, indicating that the number of small balls is insufficient; on the contrary, if the coarse particles are increased, it indicates that the number of large balls is insufficient.
