When dealing with such high-carbon ore in Inner Mongolia and other places, the recovery rate and concentrate grade are not ideal. Therefore, the treatment of such ore is an important research topic in the current beneficiation process.
In the trial, we conducted a pre-selected test to determine the preferential flotation process for preferential lead selection and subsequent zinc selection, and successfully achieved lead-zinc separation using a highly efficient carbon inhibitor (SJ). Conclusion:

Our company carried out a series of ore dressing experiments on the samples sent by Tibet XXX Company. Finally, we selected the preferential flotation process of preferentially selecting lead and then selecting zinc. We successfully separated lead and zinc and obtained similar ore. Among the better flotation indicators, the lead concentrate Pb grade is 57.63%, the recovery rate is 87.68%; the zinc concentrate Zn grade is 50.14%, the recovery rate is 86.69%, and the impurities of the two concentrates are not exceeded.
The ore contains up to 5.21% carbon, which makes it difficult to improve the grade of lead concentrate. Highly effective inhibitor of carbon in this study Successfully solved the problem of inhibition of lead in selected carbon to improve lead concentrate grade.
Due to the use of SJ inhibitors, the concentrate grade of lead is guaranteed, so that this test can boldly apply the preferential flotation process without decarburization, which not only ensures the grade of lead concentrate, but also increases the recovery rate of lead (about 4%, This part is lead contained in decarburized carbon).
The carbon that was suppressed during the lead flotation in the closed circuit test accumulated during the zinc flotation, resulting in a slight decrease in the zinc grade. This can be solved in future production by adding SJ inhibitors during zinc selection.
The flotation of 16.28% lead oxide contained in the ore was also investigated. The lead phase analysis of tailings showed that the lead oxide grade was 0.35% Pb, accounting for 83.53%; the lead sulfide was 0.069%, Pb was 16.47%, and total lead was obtained. 0.419% Pb.
This shows that 83.53% of the lead in the flotation tailings is lead oxide.
After the test has been selected from Zn and Na 2 S was added to butyl xanthate selected from lead oxide, lead oxide Na 2 S was added in an amount of 1 to 3 kg / ton, butyl xanthate 100 g / t of the case of only 1% yield about. The lead content is only about 2.5%. The recovery rate is less than 1%. It can be seen that recycling this part of lead oxide is not economically significant.
