The Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District (FPD) has taken delivery of a brand-new 105-foot Pierce Quint, designated as Truck 53. This state-of-the-art aerial apparatus is designed to tackle high-rise fires and provide critical access for rescue operations. Meanwhile, the West Chicago Fire Department has added a 2011 Pierce Impel pumper to its fleet. This pumper is equipped with a 1,500-GPM pump and a 750-gallon water tank, making it well-suited for a wide range of firefighting scenarios.
