1. Overview We often come into contact with ordinary general metallurgical microscopes, which are mainly used for measuring the metallographic structure of metal watchers. They are widely used, and they play an important role in enterprises, metallurgical and other departments for experiments and research. There are many manufacturers of metallurgical microscopes, and the models and specifications are not uniform. Therefore, there are no national, local, or department verification procedures for metallurgical microscopes. Therefore, we have conducted tests based on national standards.

2. Metallographic microscope inspection items, methods and technical requirements:

2.1 Objective Mirror Converter Positioning Error Checker: (1) 10x cross eyepiece.

(2) The demarcation ruler with a value of 0.01 mm has a limit deviation of ±0.005 mm between any two lines.

Detection method: in the examined metallurgical microscope converter equipped with 40 times the objective lens, eyepiece tube put 10 times cross eyepiece, on the stage of the 0.01mm sub-foot ruler clear focus, so that a certain degree Divide the plane with the center of the crosshair in the eyepiece, then turn the nosepiece to position it to the left and right (not less than 3 times)

Sub-steps) Observe the deviation of the 0.01mm squaring image and use the maximum offset as the detection value.

Technical requirements: not more than 0.02mm.

2.2 The first image plane center deviation when converting the objective lens:

Inspection equipment: (1) 10 times cross-lined eyepieces.

(2) Two-character reticle.

Detection method: Use 10-fold cross-dividing eyepieces and various magnification objective lenses to perform detection on the examined microscope, and use the maximum value of the bias as the detection value.

Technical Requirement: Never shift out of the field of view when converting from a 10x objective lens to another magnification objective lens.

2.3 Desk rotation center offset:

Inspection equipment: (1) 10 times cross-lined eyepieces.

(2) Two-character reticle.

Detection method: on the examined phasor micromirror, the cross reticle placed on the stage is focused with a 10× cross reticle and 10× objective lens, and the cross reticle is moved while rotating the stage, The circle with the center of the cross line tends to be the smallest, and the diameter of the smallest circle is used as the detection value.

Technical requirements: The center of the first image of the microscope, the maximum offset is not more than 0.2mm.

2.4 reticle crosshairs center deviation:

Inspection tool: cross reticle.

Detection method: on the microscope with 10 times the objective lens and the cross-lined eyepiece to be examined, the cross reticle placed on the stage is focused and clear, and the image of the center of the cross reticle is overlapped with the cross reticle eyepiece. Then rotate the cross-lined eyepieces to use the maximum offset of the center of the two crosshairs as the detection value.

Technical requirements: The center of the reticle of the cross-lined eyepiece should coincide with the axis of the eyepiece's rounding, and the deviation is 0.01mm.

3. The problems found in the imaging part of the detection are more serious.

3.1 Optical System:

(1) The field of view is blurred or the field of view is not as clear.

(2) Like a flicker, the contrast is not good.

(3) The conversion of the objective lens is not co-focused.

(4) When high voltage is used, the field of view is also difficult to distinguish.

3.2 Coarse and Fine Adjustment Parts (1) The coarse control knob is heavy when rotated.

(2) The focus in observation is left because the stage is naturally lowered or coarsely slipped.

3.3 Binocular Tube:

Binocular tube inconsistent field of view.

The above problems are easily corrected and basically accurate and reliable.
