Lincolnshire-Riverwoods apparatus updates
The Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District is set to receive their new Pierce 105′ quint next week. The truck will feature a striking black-over-red color scheme, with a black ladder that closely resembles the design of the new unit currently in Homewood. This update marks a significant visual change for the department as they continue to modernize their fleet.
In addition, the first of the existing Lincolnshire-Riverwoods units to have the white roof repainted black is Engine 51, which recently returned from the paint shop. Engine 52 is scheduled to go out for bodywork and a new black roof in the near future. This transition reflects the department’s ongoing efforts to update their fleet and maintain a cohesive, professional appearance across all units.
