· Dongfeng PSA set up a lease joint venture company in China

On March 26, PSA Peugeot Citroé¾™n Group (PSA) announced that the group financing agency Banque PSA Finance (BPF) had signed an agreement with China Dongfeng Motor Group on March 23, and the two parties will establish a financial leasing joint venture company, hoping to consume for China. PSA stressed in the announcement that the new cooperation will strengthen the cooperation between the two major automobile groups in the fields of automobile, finance and mobile travel.
Shenlong Automobile, a joint venture between PSA and Dongfeng Motor, will invest 300 million yuan in the new joint venture company, holding 50% of the shares and becoming a major shareholder, while Dongfeng Motor and BPF will each hold 25%. The new joint venture company will be registered in Wuhan, where Dongfeng Motor Group and Shenlong Automobile are located, and will serve customers of Peugeot, Citroen and DS brands.
Dongfeng Motor Group and PSA hope to provide special and diversified financial and mobile travel solutions in China through joint ventures to meet consumer expectations and become a preferred mobile travel service provider for Chinese consumers.
PSA hopes to improve its sales performance in China by establishing a new joint venture company. Rémy Bayle, CEO of BPF, said, “In China, the leasing business plays an important role in increasing the sales of our brands. It will complement current financial solutions, improve services and provide new ways to use cars.”

Chromium Carbide Overlay Wear Plate

Chrome Carbide Overlay Plate consists of a mild steel base plate onto which a highly abrasive resistant welded overlay is deposited using an open arc or submerged arc process. Plate sizes typically range from 3/8″ to 1-1/2″ in thickness; widths vary from 4′ to 8′ and lengths from 8′ to 20′. The overlay deposit is either one or two layers, measuring 1/4″ or 3/8″ thick. Bead widths vary according to the method of manufacture but typically measure about 1-1/2″ wide and are randomly check cracked. Check cracking occurs as a natural phenomenon during welding and is controlled by the chemical composition of the overlay or by cooling methods.

The finished plates can be formed and fabricated. Holes can be cut with either plasma or laser cutting machine.
