We're excited to announce three major updates tailored for our architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) clients. These enhancements are designed to support a fully digital workflow, enabling remote collaboration while maintaining the tools that professionals rely on most. The updates include cloud-based document management, new features for content authors and reviewers, and deeper integration with BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud. These innovations are built on a unified platform that connects data, workflows, and teams throughout the entire building lifecycle—from design to operations. This ensures seamless collaboration across disciplines and project phases, making it easier than ever to manage complex projects in the cloud. In addition to these updates, we've improved AutoCAD's integration into AEC workflows. A new Autodesk Docs Extension for AutoCAD allows users to publish CAD drawings directly as PDFs to Autodesk Docs or BIM 360—streamlining the process of sharing and reviewing designs. The goal behind all these updates is to make your data more accessible, empower you to work from anywhere, and drive collaboration from the design phase through construction. Let’s take a closer look at what’s coming next. The AEC Collection will now include document management, project dashboards, and reporting capabilities via Autodesk Docs, all built on the Autodesk Construction Cloud. With a bring-your-own subscription model, project owners can invite internal or external team members to join a project, fostering greater collaboration and transparency. Autodesk Docs serves as the foundation of the common data environment, offering centralized document management, seamless navigation, and integrated workflows. It brings together drawings, models, specifications, photos, and markups in one place, making it easy for teams to review, manage, and track changes. With version control and standardized approval processes, teams can access the right information quickly, whether they're working from home, the jobsite, or on the go. More AEC professionals are now conducting design reviews in the cloud without needing full design authoring tools. They simply need to see and understand changes within the broader context of the project. Until now, this has been challenging. That’s why we’re introducing Autodesk BIM Collaborate, which makes it easy to view in-progress changes on desktop and mobile devices—no subscription required. Features like project timelines, aggregated model viewing, and change tracking give design teams real-time insights into the status of their projects. Additionally, model coordination tools such as clash detection and issue management help ensure high-quality, constructible designs are delivered efficiently to the field. Next year, when Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro launches, existing customers will gain access to enhanced model coordination and advanced analytics. They’ll continue to benefit from cloud collaboration features like Design Collaboration, Revit Cloud Worksharing, and Collaboration for Civil 3D and Plant 3D. Today’s announcements reflect our ongoing commitment to creating an open ecosystem that supports coordinated workflows and interoperability across all platforms. We’re excited to see how our customers will continue to enhance collaboration at every stage of their projects using the power of cloud-based tools.
