Lightning from Sunday morning's thunderstorm struck a home on Rudolph Court in Spring Grove. Fortunately, emergency crews were quick to respond and managed to contain the fire before it could escalate further. While there were no reports of injuries, the lack of nearby hydrants posed a challenge for firefighters. However, they overcame this obstacle by using tenders to transport water from Spring Grove's main engine. It was a coordinated effort that prevented significant damage to the property. Jeff Rudolph shared these photos from the scene.
