· GM stopped selling some SUV Goodyear tires in the US

<

Recently, GM announced that due to problems with Goodyear tires, dealers are required to stop selling nearly 6,300 general-purpose SUVs, including Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and Buick Encore.
Goodyear plans to recall a total of 48,500 tires, of which 32,100 have been used by General Motors and the remaining 16,400 are used as spare tires.
Goodyear has recently negotiated with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and spokesman Scott Baughman said it expects to recall tires next month.
Alan Adler, a spokesperson for General Motors, said that once Goodyear officially announced a tire issue recall, General Motors would recall the cars with related tire problems at the same time. At the same time, it also guarantees that the 5830 problem tire car in the US will not be sold in the market.
In addition, Goodyear will recall approximately 49,000 Fortera HL tires (size: p255 / 65r18 109) produced between November 30 last year and January 10 this year. It is reported that due to the small crack in the tread of the tire, the rear tire did not pass the routine endurance company test.
It is reported that Goodyear tires released official news recently, reminding consumers that there are any Goodyear tire retail stores, replacing authorized dealers, or replacing similar 18-inch tires at the original purchase point for better recall.
